CASE STUDY – IMTECH ENGINEERING

Overview

Imtech/ISG were awarded a multi-million pound contract of works to carry out the refurbishment and modernisation of an iconic building within the Poole Town Centre.

The refurbishment programme included improvements to the office space, meeting rooms and facilities, with Systems Group carrying out installation of the main services.

IMTECH Engineering Ltd are a large, independently owned and managed technical services provider who delivers for clients across the UK and Ireland. They specialise in mechanical and electrical engineering, technical facilities management, automation control and real-time IT solutions.

Systems Group were engaged by Imtech Engineering Services Ltd to carry out the Prefabrication and Site installation of Stainless Steel Chilled Water & Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) systems on the Poole Offices Refurbishment Project.

Metric Tru-bore Stainless Steel pipework systems were prefabricated for Chilled Water & LTHW Systems to the basement & roof top plantrooms with riser pipework feeding the AHU’s, LTHW & Chilled beam Systems to the refurbished 5^th, 6^th & 7^th Floor offices.

All pipework spools were designed, fabricated & welded in our south wales facility, packed and shipped to Poole via our Systems transport for installation by our site operatives.

Systems Group provided supervised site Installation of the prefabricated pipework & interconnecting pipework to the basement & roof top plantrooms and riser pipework feeding the AHU’s, LTHW & chilled beam systems to the refurbished 5^th, 6^th & 7^th Floor offices.

The project was meticulously planned and complied with the customers specifications and project timescales. The project was completed to the full satisfaction of Imtech.
